August – National Wellness Month

August is Wellness Month which is founded by Live Love Spa in 2018. It is a nationally recognized month dedicated to self-care, creating healthy routines and stress management. Wellness month was born out of the idea that if we are going to do big things in the world- build our careers, raise a family, further our education, create new ideas, and nurture our bodies – we need to take care of ourselves.

Kickstart Wellness Month by Getting Involved Today!

There are three steps you can take to start your wellness journey this month.

  1. Take The Pledge : Take the pledge and snap a selfie with your “I choose wellness” card or get creative and make your own. (Download the Pledge Here)

  2. Post To Social: Share your pledge and wellness journey with friends and family on social media. Hashtag #ichoosewellness #wellnessmonth #wellfie and tag @wellness_month

  3. Follow The Calendar: Incorporate wellness into your daily life with their 31- day challenge calendar. Here are 10 great challenges we have highlighted below:

  • 1. Choose Wellness and Take the Pledge

  • 2. Increase Your Water Intake, Drink 8 glasses of water each day

  • 3. Learn to Meditate

  • 4. Declutter One Area of Your Home

  • 5. Take Your Exercise Outdoors
